online jobs review.

Are you interested to explore the world of online jobs? If yes then you have to keep certain things in mind. There are certain key factors to remember before you apply for an online job.
First of all you have to find yourself a reliable freelancing website and get yourself registered with it. Do remember that you have to express yourself in a very professional way so that the people who want their work to get done will see your qualification and experience working online. So present yourself in a professional way while filing your details in the registration process. If you have an attractive profile, you will find it very easy to get work online.
Another thing to remember while searching for an online work at the first time is that you have to bid for the minimum. People will post their work online and will make available all the details he/she wants to get done. Many job seekers will bid for the job and place their bid amounts. You have to see the minimum bid amounts and make a bid lower than that. While you are new in the field, people will see your bid amount as there would be no experience and hence no credit rating for you. So make sure that you bid for the minimum amount in order to get a job. Once you have done five to six jobs then people would see your credit rating rather than the bid amount and they would prefer you over the new comers. So then you can place a higher bid amount than the others.
And finally, while you are bidding for a job and the buyer gets interested in your proposal, make sure that you always send him/her a PM (private message) rather than contacting him/her via email.

What are people's opinions of recruiters and online job postings?I've been seeing a lot of job postings online, through companies and recruiters, and haven't had much success. I have 10 yrs experience in my field with a leading company, but when I've applied I don't get many responses. Do companies just post jobs simply to gather a database of prospective employees?? One company did fly me to NJ to interview a month ago and I still have not gotten a response other than "you are a very strong candidate and we're still making our decision".

Yes there are several companies for which you can do customer service at home. They offer full and part time hours and benefits as well as being able to choose your hours. they are Alpine Access, and convergys, and there are 2 or 3 more that I dont remember the names for. The application and interview and all that are done on line and the phone. You have to have a land line to work for them. They have contracts with all types of companies, so I dont really know who you would be doing customer service for.
