Skilful and experienced occupational therapists can find attractive positions in top-tier medical and healthcare facilities in the United States. According to individual preferences, candidates can apply for part-time jobs, permanent, temporary, full-time and travel assignments.
Jobs that Demand Dedicated Service
Occupational therapists work with both young and old individuals to overcome their disabilities caused by aging, or accidents and physical or psychological illnesses. The ultimate goal of therapy professionals is to help patients with both physical and mental impairments get back to a normal life. They enable patients to lead an independent life by assisting them in performing their daily activities, teaching them how to use the equipment and giving physical exercises.
How to Become a Good Professional
If you are interested in working as an occupational therapist, a master’s degree in OT from a recognized university or college is necessary. To practice in the U.S, therapists must obtain a state licensure. To work as occupational therapy assistants, candidates must have completed an associate’s degree or certificate program. Candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help people can work as occupational therapy aides. For this they must have a high school diploma.
Make a Change in Your Career
Occupational therapists can work in premier healthcare facilities in locations of their choice. Based on academic qualifications and experience, the salary package may vary. The benefit package includes:

I did a search across Canada for "seamstress" openings on HRDC and found 37 openings across Canada.

I looked for 'dressmaker" and found only 4 – all those jobs were located in Quebec.

If your aunt already lives in Canada then I suggest "word of mouth" or posting her own ad in a community paper. There are always so many people looking for a good independent seamstress. In Canada they are difficult to find and those who have established themselves are booked far in ;advance. Working for herself would pay so much better than working as a seamstress for some company.
Hopefully this has been of help.
Good Luck
