You do not need/want online recruiters? Fine. But – please be aware that reputated companies hire employees from aboard through recruitment agancies which will take care of all necessary steps like visas, etc.
One day I was looking for a general technician and received only cvs of accountants and IT specialists. Take that into consideration and provide companies with a professional cv. I wish you good luck.

I live in the UAE and have never heard of any terrorist threats in the country. I still feel very safe here.
Dubai is also experiencing a lot of problems due to financial meltdown. But I know for a fact that almost all of the Big 4s are still hiring entry level staff, probably because they are cheaper compared to the experienced ones.
