Until you finish college you will probably continue to have a series of entry level jobs. Maybe you can develop some job skills beyond entry level. Pick a career and try to land the next few jobs in the same field.
Wait staff work is good for young people while in school because it pays pretty good and the hours allow time for school. Try getting a hostess job and proving your willingness to work your way up to wait staff.

It is most appropriate and you are wonderful for thinking so. All service people who do their jobs to the best of their ability, even the postman and the paper carrier, should get something for Christmas. For your hairdresser, for example, a fine bottle of wine and/or a check. For those more invisible, nothing is better than an envelope stuffed with money. The fact that you never see them is worth money in and of itself. The ones who need constant supervision are a pain in the you-know-what and deserve less. The less you see them – the bigger the envelope! $50 or $100 means a lot.

I hurt my back in 04 and had to have disc surgery. I was on my back for a while and didn’t adjust my eating habits to account for a lack of activity. Also, I found that as I got a little older weight was harder to keep off and my appetite got stronger. Just not even paying attention I put on over 30 pounds pretty quick. When I jumped on a scale at my friend’s house I nearly freaked. My friend mark is a diet guy and when I say that I mean he’s always on the cutting edge of what’s the hot supplements and products so I asked him what was a good way to drop some weight and he told me about desert burn hoodia. It sounds like a line but I got some and my hunger really just kinda vanished. No bull! And I can eat a horse. That was also a problem as we get a little older we can still eat as much or more because the stomach gets stretched out when over stuffed for long periods of time when a person is overweight. Also, we are not as active. So eating as much or more and doing less activity it only strands to reason that you’re gonna pork up. Anyhow, I tried the hoodia, it worked great and I lost 33 pounds. So, if you want, and I really think you should, please GOOGLE: online health desert burn hoodia : you can just cut and paste So, I hope sincerely that this helps you and I hope that you lose the weight that you want. Best of Luck!!! Also, here's a link. thanks.

At 14 I wish you luck being able to do it because it's not legal for you to work. As for the stands, they generally come with instructions, that or they are really basic and not hard to figure out

    Hey calliope3…,

Thoughtful question. Once I received one of these notes at christmas, that informed me an Aunt had passed on. Not a good way to find out that information.

Perhaps, if you had Christmas Gifts – like Free information, 4th Great Grandparents picture, lines form a Record saying what your 9th Great Grandparent did for work, when he was born, where. Where you found information. Where you keep the information on the internet…

DNA Results. That would be awesome. Also, a Tree online at Roots, LDS or one of the other sites.

You could give pointers to all sorts of sites and family history. Nice idea!

But leave out the recently deceased, unless you are sure that all know.

Of course, you could do the Coat of Arms thing too – I don't take too much stock in those because of the rules to pass down are complicated, and not followed.

Certificates from Passengers Lists of Ancestors from Ellis Island.

Hi there, NYC is amazing you're gonna love it!

http://www.hostelworld.com/NewYork check this site, you can find cheap hostels and hotels.

    Go to visit:
Central Park, Manhattan, rockefeller center christmas tree, go for a walk to brooklyn bridge, the statue of liberty is 12 dollars with the boat but it's nice to do it (go very early in the moorning or you'll have to wait very long in the line)

If you are interested in museums don't miss the Natural History one and the Metropolitan (in both you pay the money that you want because the price is suggested. (They suggest 20 dollars but I paid 5 dollars/each because I 'm not rich) Then, with the metropolitan ticket you can see the cloisters for free the same day. The MOMA is free on fridays after 4 p.m.

Food there is very cheap if you eat in the street. If you like chinese food, go to chinatown, their food is amazing!
In little Italy you can both eat in a restaurant for about 35 dollars (It's very romantic, at night they put candles in your table, you'll feel like you are in Italy)If you can't afford it, go there just for a walk .

I suggest you to buy a week ticket for the subway, you'll save a lot of money!!

    Have fun!!
